Description
Salvia planted in gardens or yards as an ornamental plant.
Plants that come from Mexico is like a place that receives full sun or slightly shielded. Can be found mainly in cooler climates to a height of 1400 m above sea level.
Salvia grows up, 20-90 cm high, stem quadrangular, woody, branching, smooth hair. single leaf, long-stemmed with a 1-6 cm. Leaf blade oval to elongated, pointed tip, base obtuse, the edge was jagged, bone pinnate leaves, 3-10 cm long, 2-6,5 cm wide, dark green. Compound interest, together with a 10-30 cm long, have 2-16 florets. Crown funnel-shaped flowers, hairy, red-colored leaves. Fruit oval, small.
