Description
These plants originated from Tropical Asia and South Africa. In Indonesia, found in areas with dry climates, growing wild or planted for fencing of lowlands to 400 m above sea level.
1.5-2 m high, stems woody, rectangles, hair, strong thorn leaves contained in the armpit. single leaf, leaf-haired youth, lies opposite, petiole 4-8 mm long. Oblong leaf blade until the lancet or elongated egg round, tip pointed, base narrowed taper along the stem, slightly wavy edge flat, 2-18 cm long, 2-6,5 cm wide, pinnate bone, it's green. Symmetrical two-sided single flower, in the armpit leaves, elongated elliptical shape, the color yellow. Fruit box, oval, flattened, tip somewhat pointed, hard, split in two, it's green. Seeds ovate, flattened, shiny, brown. Propagation by seed or stem cuttings.
