Small Bungur
(Lagerstroemia indica L.)



Various properties of small Bungur:

• coughing up blood, vomiting blood, dysentery, and other bleeding
Boil 30 g of roots in 200 cc of water until the remaining 80 cc. when cool, strain and filter drinking water, twice a day each 40 cc.

• Dysentery
Boil 20 g of leaf or root in 3 cups water until the remaining half. Once cool, strain and filter drinking water 3 times a day, each 1/2 cup.

• Acute dysentery, infectious hepatitis
Wash 15 g of root or leaf 15 9 Bungur small flower, then boiled in 3 cups water until the remaining one cup. Once cool, strain water and boiled for half to two times drinks, morning and afternoon. Every time a drink 1/2 cup, can be added honey to taste.

• Ulcer, ulceration
Dry the roots or flowers small Bungur sufficiently, then milled until smooth. Add the white wine to taste until the form of thick porridge, then apply to the sick body and bandaged with gauze. For drugs taken, boiled 30 g of root in 3 cups water until the remaining one cup. Once cool strain and filter drinking water, twice a day, each 1/2 cup.

• Eczema
Roots or leaves to taste Wash thoroughly, then boiled in water until boiling (for 15 minutes). In warm conditions, this herb can be used to wash the body of eczema.

Note
Pregnant women are forbidden to drink decoction of this medicinal plant as it can disrupt fetal development.
